Ha, Hong Pal Assistant to the President
HongPal Ha received his BA in Theology from Sahmyook University, Korea. He got his Masteral and Doctoral degrees from Adventist International Institutes of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), Philippines (MA in Old Testament, MTh in New Testament, and PhD in New Testament).
His ministerial careers have begun as a local church pastor with chaplaincy at Busan Adventist Hospital for some years, followed by a translator of Sabbath School Quarterly into Korean at Korean Publishing House.
Then, most of his time was spent at Sahmyook University as a professor of Theology Department, as well as a professor at AIIAS teaching New Testament.
Beginning 2010, he has moved to Northern Asia-Pacific Division as Director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministry Department (before GC session in 2010), followed by Acting Ministerial Secretary (short period) together with current positions: PMM Coordinator, Leadership Training & Development Coordinator, and Director of Public Affairs & Religious Liberty (PARL).
Dr. Ha and his wife, Woi Sook, have been blessed with one son and one daughter plus three grandchildren.
