Adventist Education Seminar Took Place at TWC

On May 4 to 5, 2024, the Taiwan Conference (TWC) hosted the Adventist Education Seminar. The conference’s Ministry of Education organized this event, which serves as a crucial tool in fulfilling the shared mission of nurturing the spiritual growth of parents. The Ministry of Education director from TWC provided training and guidance during a lecture titled “Why Adventist Education and the Purpose of Adventist Education.”

At this seminar, 45 individuals participated, with the majority being parents who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They emphasized the value of children’s education and sought to gain a deeper understanding of Adventist education. Additionally, they aimed to collaborate in safeguarding the spiritual lives of children as they grow and learn. They proclaimed the significance of allowing God’s school and His words to educate children rather than letting the world educate them.

During the lecture, Pastor Du, the director of the Education Department of TWC, reiterated the importance of Adventist education, stating, “The mission of Adventist Education is to save. It is of utmost importance to proclaim this to all corners of the Earth. Adventist education prepares individuals for the Second Advent.”

Pastor Ko, the president of TWC, delivers the message to participants.

Furthermore, Pastor Ko, the president of TWC, encouraged everyone by stating that our church exists to prepare for the kingdom of God. He emphasized, “Adventist education is an important part of this preparation. May all parents affirm and encourage the continuation of our church’s youth and spiritual education at this stage. This will ensure that the mission of Adventist education is deeply rooted in every corner of Taiwan and achieves the greatest impact needed for our church’s missions.”
