Welcome

We Are a People of Mission

Warm and cordial greetings to our brothers and sisters around the world!

The Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) is one of the most challenging fields in the world. It covers the vast territory of Mongolia, Japan, Taiwan, North Korea and South Korea.

The mission of God’s people in this division is to spread the gospel message of the soon coming of Christ to 230 million people who reside in the division territory. Although we may look like grasshoppers before the great wall of secularism, materialism, atheistic ideologies and philosophies, we can successfully accomplish the mission through the power of the Holy Spirit promised by Christ.

The wall of Jericho was destroyed at the shout of the people of Israel who had trusted in God’s power. Goliath, the heathen giant, fell down before David who was equipped with this power. One hundred twenty thousand trained soldiers of Midian were slain by three hundred men of Gideon who went out to the battlefield with this power. The same power of God is promised to His people in the last days to accomplish the gospel commission.

We are a people of mission. The One who gives our mission to us also grants us the power that we need. “You shall receive power,” Jesus promised. (Acts 1:8) Let us claim this power and courageously move forward to accomplish the mission entrusted to us by our Lord Jesus Christ. We will certainly finish the work and see the appearance of Jesus in the clouds of heaven in a short period of time. Indeed, the Lord is coming soon!

May God bless you and your family!

Your Brother in His Service,

Kim, Yo Han, President
Northern Asia-Pacific Division

NSD Mission Statement

The mission of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division of Seventh-day Adventists is to communicate to all peoples in its territory the everlasting gospel of God’s love in the context of the three angels’ messages of Revelation 14:6-12, and as revealed in the life, death, resurrection, and high priestly ministry of Jesus Christ, leading them to accept Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord and to unite with His remnant church; and to nurture believers as disciples in preparation for His soon return, and to equip and empower them for service.
