On November 19, 2016, Taiwan Conference (TWC) youth ministries department held a Pathfinder Leaders’ Congress for the first time in the 64 years of Pathfinder ministries history in Taiwan. They invited former youth directors and lay leaders who had worked devotedly and passionately for the development of Pathfinder ministries.
TWC president Noah Lai expressed gratitude to the previous leaders who had done their best even in a poor environment. TWC youth department had a grand completion ceremony for the new leaders who had finished the Master Guide Course and Advanced Pathfinder Leader Course in the past one or two years.
Pastor Kim Nak Hyung, youth director of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division, was invited to this event as a special guest. He said to the new leaders, “In this age of confusion, we sometimes do not recognize where to go. I hope you will be leaders who lead the people to the heavenly Jerusalem as Moses led the Israelites across the Red Sea to the promised land of Canaan.”
