From April 21 to 27, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) held its PREXAD (Presidential Executive Advisory) meeting in Sri Lanka to discuss the division’s strategic direction actively. NSD departmental directors, union presidents from various countries, and their spouses came together to share visions and strengthen collaboration.

In his welcome address, Kim YoHan, President of the NSD, stated, “May the Holy Spirit guide our discussions, inspire our vision, and strengthen our unity as we move forward with the General Conference’s ‘I Will Go’ initiative and prepare for the NSD’s 2025–2030 strategic phase.”
NSD leaders used the PREXAD meeting to establish ministry priorities and set long-term goals through 2030. They also reviewed and analyzed the 2024 statistical report. The discussions emphasized clear strategies to expand mission work, develop next-generation leadership, and build stronger global partnerships.
They also addressed global initiatives proposed by the General Conference, including human sexuality, the Back to the Altar, children’s Sabbath School curriculum, the week of prayer, and the emphasis on fundamental doctrines. Leaders explored effectively implementing these initiatives across local churches and mission fields. They also evaluated the preparation process for the upcoming General Conference Session in July and aligned their collaborative efforts across the NSD territories.

Each morning, Jonas Arrais, Ministerial Secretary of the NSD, led a devotional that set a spiritually focused tone for the day. On Sabbath, participants engaged in fellowship activities shared testimonies, and lifted their voices in praise, deepening their spiritual connection and encouraging one another.
During the week, the leaders visited key institutions in Sri Lanka, including Negombo International School and the Sri Lanka Mission headquarters in Colombo. These visits allowed them to encourage local leaders, offer prayers of blessing, and reaffirm their shared commitment to the mission.
