Northern Asia-Pacific Division 2023 Week of Prayer

Every year, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) promotes a special week to come together as a family to study, pray, and fellowship.  This year, after three years, due to the Covid-19, the NSD could held the first Week of Prayer face to face. Dr. Gebre Worancha Dimma was invited to be the guest speaker. He was born in Ethiopia, but currently he is serving as a professor in the School of Theology at Bugema University, Kampala, Uganda. The theme for the week was “Spiritual Growth and Commitment to Mission.” The daily topics were very relevant and reminded us for what we are here as disciples of Jesus.

Dr. Gebre brought his passion to every message. His enthusiasm and great love for the Gospel story inspired the NSD family to delve deeper in the Word of God. As an evangelist his moto is, “Let the Bible Speaks.”

During this week of spiritual emphasis, we had the opportunity to be revived spiritually, to strength our relationship with God, and to be more committed to the church mission. The product of a such spiritual revival week produced joy, encouragement, unity, hope, and commitment to the NSD workers.
