Mongolia Mission Annual Council 2018

The Mongolia Mission (MM) Annual Council 2018 was held on November 14, 2018, at Bayan Khair Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. With the theme “Faithfulness to His Prophets, Reach The World,” we aimed to highlight the fact that as God’s remnant church we have received a global mission from our Lord, that in turn must be carried out putting the Holy Scriptures, as well as the Spirit of Prophecy, as our standard in terms of doctrine and praxis.

Around 30 attendees, including the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) leaders, Mongolia Mission (MM) committee members, departmental and institutional directors, besides church pastors and lay members, actively participated in the meetings. Pastor Yutaka Inada, NSD executive secretary, shared a powerful message during the morning devotional which opened the works. Elder Joel Tompkins, NSD treasurer, closed the program with a biblical reflection in the evening. Pastors Ron Clouzet and Han SukHee (NSD ministerial secretary and communication director, respectively) also gave us the honor of their presence during the whole Council.

“Annual Council is a time to reflect on God’s blessings. I am reminded of rich blessings that came from God, what had happened during the year, including the challenges we have faced. I want to praise God for all the grace and blessings He has showered upon us and hope all the glory and honor be attributed to Him”, said Pastor Bold Batsukh, MM executive secretary. Pastor Han pointed out that all programs of MM Annual Council were well-organized and every department gave an impressive report from an “selection and concentration” aspect. “I was moved by president Kim YoHan’s excellent leadership and all the other directors and staff members’ spirit of unity”, he said.

It was exciting to listen to all the reports delivered during the sessions, presenting how God’s kingdom has been spread throughout MM territory in 2018, by all means available, to reach as many people as possible, by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is totally in harmony with our Mission’s vision, namely, “Expanding God’s Kingdom through care groups, reaching 3000 memberships, 20 new congregations, doubling God’s storehouse by 2020.” May God continue to strengthen MM to carry out His mission in our territory and extending our borders to reach the world!
