JUC Shepherdesses Meet in Tokyo

On Tuesday, April 24, 2012, JUC Shepherdess International Coordinator, Keiko Shoji, facilitated a meeting for nine pastoral spouses at the Tokyo Central Church. NSD Shepherdess International Coordinator, Lynn Ripley, was the speaker. She shared two presentations, one on personal spiritual revival, and another on how to be an active disciple of Jesus. The shepherdesses participated in activities where they shared their personal testimony of when they met Jesus. Then they practiced how to invite someone to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

The ladies enjoyed a beautiful Japanese box lunch that was made more special through a beautiful salad prepared by Kim Kwon Yul, TokyoCentral Church’s pastor’s wife. Also in attendance were Mrs. Yoshiko Shimada, the JUC president’s wife, and Pastor Kaori Motek, Tokyo Central Church’s assistant pastor.
The fellowship and sharing was warm and enthusiastic. One pastor’s spouse responded to the time together by saying, “I have been strengthened in my witness for Jesus. I wish all the pastors’ spouses could have attended.”
