Amid concerns over the spread of COVID-19, the Mongolian government declared a state of emergency in Mongolia and has taken active measures. Since January 27, 2020, schools and public gatherings have been suspended until April 30. In response to this circumstance, the Mongolian Mission (MM) started online worship service on February 1. The first online Sabbath sermon was health-emphasized. Also, the MM delivers health nuggets for every Sabbath service. It is obviously the time to share the Adventist health message with our community.
In addition, 3,200 masks and 70 hand sanitizers were distributed to the public and government agencies by the MM Health Ministries department, the MM Youth department’s outreach program, and local churches under the MM’s instruction. As Jesus showed us His example of mingling with people and providing for their needs, we are trying our best to serve the community in times like this.
