Reaching Out the Community with Love

On September 11-15, 2023, nine Women’s Ministries leaders from different churches in Mongolia led by Oyuntuya Batsukh (Mongolia Mission WM director, joined together as an evangelist team to serve the and reach out the community around the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nalaih district, Mongolia. These women saved money and resources to provide help to Nalaih district in their needs. The women together served this area with their time, presence, talents, and gifts helping people in need.

As part of their service, they organized a variety of ministries to attend different needs in the community. Family Health topics were presented to various groups of people including government organization’s employees. As a result, the church will organize more training to reach them with our health message in the future.

The women’s team also provided visitation, Bible study, massage, health counseling and the Korean Tongi magnetic treatment for those who came to the church searching for healing. The employees of some institutions were measured by a medical apparatus, and the health indicators and the probability of disease were determined. Additional programs, such as morning exercise clubs, were held in the church building to serve the community.

The women prepared a series of messages based on “Repentance.” To help people un understand that forgiveness and grace is available though Jesus Christ. “People were very touched by the messages as they saw that there is always a better way to live,” says Oyuntuya Batsukh, Mongolia Mission WM Director. The women also provided a series on the book of Proverbs teaching the people who attended the meetings on how to growth in faith.

The attendees came from all walks of life –54 employees of Nalaikh District Police Department, 15 employees of the Department of Family, Children and Youth Development, 26 employees of the Emergency Department, 12 employees of the Social Insurance Department, 14 employees of the tax office, 16 employees of kindergarten No. 151, 7 employees of the 1st committee of Nalaikh district, 34 employees of the Department of Energy. A total of 178 people participated in the training, and about 120 people were registered to continue to know more about Jesus.

The women returned to their local churches with joy and ready for more. They know that the mission continues, and God can use them to fulfill His mission “in such a time as this.”
