Sahmyook University Health College (SHUC) had a HisHands Mission Movement dedication service on May 16, 2015. On this day, there was a pinning ceremony for the more than 30 SHUC students who decided to become a HisHands missionary.
Han JeongEun, a newly dedicated HisHands member and the daughter of Pastor Han SukHee, said, “I have watched my dad working for this movement for a long time. I am so glad that I am now a HisHands missionary like my dad and now our family has become a missionary family. From now on, I will listen more carefully to what God says and live my life as He leads.” Her father is serving at the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) as theHisHands Mission Movement coordinator.
Pastor Choi HoYoung, Korean Union Conference youth ministry director, gave a special sermon at the service. Citing the beginning of the book of 2 Kings, “Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead,” Pastor Choi urged the new HisHands missionaries to tuck their cloak into their belt of faith, take the oil of God’s word, and go where God tells them to go.
East Central Korean Conference, the conference which SHUC belongs to, has shown a particular concern for theHisHands Mission Movement and has continually encouraged their church members to participate in the movement. The conference has sent out 14 batches of HisHands missionaries.
