Empowering Church Leaders Through Certification Programs in Pakistan

On November 26, 2024, a special certification program for deacons and elders was conducted in Lahore and Karachi under the Pakistan Union Section. The event brought together local church leaders for an inspiring and educational experience designed to enhance their understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the church.

The program focused on both the spiritual and practical aspects of leadership, offering participants valuable guidance on effectively supporting their congregations and contributing to the church’s broader mission. Key topics included spiritual growth, servant leadership, conflict resolution, and the importance of personal commitment to God’s work.

Jonas Arrais, Ministerial Secretary of the NSD, and Raquel Arrais, Women’s Ministries Director of the NSD, led the training sessions. They provided insightful teachings and practical tools to help deacons and elders carry out their duties more effectively. Participants also engaged in meaningful discussions, shared experiences, and strengthened their spiritual connections with one another.

The program concluded with a prayer of blessing for all attendees, acknowledging their dedication to their calling. This heartfelt moment highlighted the significance of their commitment to serving their congregations and communities.
The event profoundly impacted the participants, inspiring them to serve with renewed passion and a deeper understanding of their role in advancing the church’s mission. This initiative marked a significant milestone in equipping local leaders in the Northern Asia-Pacific Division to serve with excellence and faithfulness.
