Dedication of the 10th Group of PMM Missionaries

The dedication service for the 10th group of PMM missionaries was held at Sahmyook University Church on October 29, 2011. About 500 attendees including Elder Ted Wilson, GC President and NSD Executive Committee members attended the service to encourage missionaries.

Reciting 2 Timothy chapter 4, Elder Wilson said “a missionary life is not an easy one, but please be missionaries who preach the word in season and out of season like the Apostle Paul who finished the race of faith”.

Dr. Jairyong Lee, NSD President said, ”the most precious title a person can have in this world is that of being called a missionary and the power of the Holy Spirit that God promises to give us will be with His missionaries” before he presented them plaques of appointment.

Among nine PMM missionary families, five families will be sent to the NSD territories such as Mongolia and Korea and the other four families will be sent to territories outside the NSD including Russia, Uzbekistan, and Thailand. With the help of the KUC Media Center the event was broadcast live all over Korea via satellite and internet.
