Communication and Leadership Advancement Program - RUN 2C

The third session of the second run of the Communication and Leadership Advancement Program (CLAP) commenced at the Asia-Pacific International University campus from March 4-15, 2012.  Thirty-three selected leaders from CHUM, JUC, KUC and MMF arrived safely on to the campus of the university on March 4, with the last participant arriving in the early morning of March 5, 2012 at 4 am.  However, each one of them is upbeat with the opportunity to learn and to renew acquaintances.

Mrs Erica Hole, the key instructor for the program, together with Ms Leonora Carado, assistant instructor, met with selected tutors from the university, to orient them to their roles that they have played in the training programs for these leaders, in the morning of March 4, 2012.  The entire preparation was made precisely by Dr Sally Lam-Phoon, together with her assistant Ms Esther Ke, working with coordinator,Ms Suwannee, the personnel assigned by the university to assist in the program.

The first leadership lectures were given by Dr David Ripley and Pastor Lynn Ripley, NSD Ministerial Secretary and Shepherdess InternationalCoordinator.  The main leadership instructor, Dr Chek Yat Phoon, NSD Education Director, who also works as the coordinator for the leadership component of the program, has invited others from the university and also Scott Griswold from the Buddhist Center in Ayutthyato present other aspects of mission work to the group of participants.

The enthusiasm and camaraderie exhibited by the participants are spurring them on to absorb as much as they can in English and leadership to enable them to operate in a global setting now and in the future.
