Ansan Multicultural Family Service Center Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The Multicultural Family Service Center in Ansan, Korea, celebrated its 10-year anniversary on December 15, 2018. More than 150 people attended the ceremony, including Kim DongGyu, Ansan City council chair, Jung JongGil, council’s culture welfare committee chair, Hyun OkSoon, councilor in Gwangju, and Kim SiYoung, president of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division.

The celebration event was held in the chapel hall, which is in the basement of the center. The program started with welcome greetings from Pastor Kim YoungSoo, director of the center. It was followed by congratulatory remarks by the guests and a performance by a group of Russian children. Professional singers were also invited for a special performance. The beautiful harmony resonated in the auditorium and moved attendees, regardless of their nationalities.

“I truly thank God for leading us here. Also, without the cooperation and support of people who have worked here or have been involved in this ministry, our center could not have come this far. I am looking forward to God’s blessing on this center for another ten years,” said Pastor Kim YoungSoo, director of the center.
