About 50 executive committee members of Japan Union Conference (JUC) had a special yearend meeting for three days, November 25 to 27, 2014.The president of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division and other officers attended and supported the meetings.
The leaders of Japanese Adventist Churches heard reports from conferences/mission and institutions. Attendees could see the progress in many areas, especially that city evangelism has impacted several churches in the city and that the student missionary program Frontline project is working very well.
On the other hand, there are still many challenges for the Lord’s cause in this country. Attendees openly discussed these matters, and all delegates were involved in the decision making.
They believe they can overcome all difficult things by God’s grace and providential guidance. JUC decided to move ahead with “All Japan15” and all churches in JUC are expected to join the city evangelism effort in their respective areas. JUC’s baptism goal for 2015 is 500, an unprecedented number for JUC.
