It has been already 18 years since ADRA first started its operation in Mongolia. After all these years, ADRA Mongolia purchased a new office to support its sustainable operation in Mongolia and celebrated the opening ceremony on May 9, 2012. Dr. Rudi Maier, President of ADRA International, Mr. Daniel Dos Santos, Director of ADRA Asia and board members of ADRA Asia visited Mongolia and attended this important event.
The event reaffirms ADRA Mongolia’s commitment to continue supporting Mongolian people in need, contributing to poverty reduction, providing equal opportunities and strengthening the social justice in the rapidly changing social-economic context of Mongolia.
In addition, some more important workshops were taking place during these days such as strategic planning meeting of ADRA Mongolia to determine organization’s future strategies and ADRA Asia Board Meeting was organized in Mongolia for the first time during 10-16 May, 2012.
