United West and South Bangladesh Through Couples Seminars

The Family Ministries Department in Bangladesh conducted a heartfelt series of Couples Seminars, aiming to strengthen marriages and nurture Christian family values with warmth and compassion.

On May 29, 2025, a Couples Seminar convened at Bangla Hope under the West Bangladesh Mission, uniting numerous couples from nearby churches for spiritual growth and relational renewal. Mahuya Roy, Director of Family Ministries at the Bangladesh Adventist Union Mission (BAUM), and Rebecca Adhikary, Family Ministries Director of the West Bangladesh Mission (WBM), led the event. Key messages underscored love, faithfulness, mutual respect, and the necessity of strengthening marital bonds through biblical principles. The day concluded with a vow renewal ceremony, making the experience profoundly memorable for all participants.

Later in the year, from August 14 to 16, 2025, the South Bangladesh Mission (SBM) also hosted a Couples Seminar at Kuakata with the theme “Family is the Gift from God.” Over 26 couples from various congregations across the mission territory attended the three-day event. The seminar offered practical guidance, encouragement, and actionable insights to strengthen family life within a Christian context. Presentations, interactive group activities, and spiritual fellowship deepened commitment among the attending couples.

Together, these initiatives reflect the church’s ongoing commitment in Bangladesh to empower families, foster strong marital relationships, and inspire couples to exemplify God’s love within their homes and communities.
