On September 30, 2024, the Family Ministries Department of Mongolia Mission organized a meaningful event called Passing on the Value of Faith. 73 senior participants gathered for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual enrichment. This gathering allowed seniors to reflect on the significance of faith in their lives and explore ways to pass it on to future generations.

The celebration featured heartfelt testimonies, worship sessions, and discussions, during which attendees shared their experiences and encouraged one another. These interactions deepened their bonds as a community of faith.
Special moments of prayer, music, and messages emphasized the importance of staying rooted in faith throughout life. The seniors left feeling uplifted, inspired, and empowered to continue sharing their wisdom and spiritual experiences with family, friends, and church communities.

The event’s success highlights older generations’ vital role in nurturing faith and underscores their lasting impact on those around them. Raquel Arrais, Family Ministries Director of the NSD, expressed the importance of caring for the elderly in congregations, stating:
“Caring for the elderly in our congregations is a meaningful way to express love and compassion. It honors their dignity, recognizes their life experiences, and meets their physical and emotional needs. Through acts of kindness, patience, and support, we show that they are valued and cherished in their later years.”
