As Light Lingers: Basking in the Word of God by Nina Atcheson

The Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) Family Ministries (FM) department, with the help of the FM directors from Korean Union Conference, Taiwan Union Conference, and Mongolia Mission, has realized the completion of another one of this quinquennium’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). KPI 6.4—Significant increase in number of church members regularly engaging in family worships comes under the General Conference FM department’s chosen Spiritual Objective #6: To increase accession, retention, reclamation, and participation of children, youth, and young adults.

With the recent completion of the Mongolian version, the book As Light Lingers: Basking in the Word of God by Nina Atcheson has now been translated, published, and distributed for the four main NSD languages: Chinese, Korean, Mongolian, and Japanese. (The book had previously been translated into Japanese by the Japan Union Conference.) The purpose for this project was to help provide and promote concrete Bible study skills, along with personal and family devotional inspiration.
As Light Lingers has been well received and read by many at the time of this writing. These are some of the comments about the book: “This book is really inspirational and I was very blessed through this work”; “The book is a must-have for every family and is an inspiration to read. Thank you for translating this book”; “I was really blessed with this book and I want to read my Bible more”; and “This book has given me good ideas of how to introduce my children to Jesus and help them to enjoy spending time with Him in prayer and Bible study.”
