Blessed Greetings from the 18th Batch of Golden Angels!

In the midst of the uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lord keeps on leading this singing ministry for the establishment of His heavenly kingdom. We, the 18th batch of Golden Angels, feel overwhelmed by the call. He blesses us with health, youthfulness, and passion for His ministry.

This year, we are joined by six members from Korea, one from Hong Kong, and another from Myanmar. Due to the pandemic situation, the two members from Hong Kong and Myanmar had to go through two weeks of quarantine and were able to join the rest of the members on January 13, 2021.
Pastor Kim NakHyung, Golden Angels coordinator of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD), and associate coordinator Pastor Cho DaeYeon led the intensive training for the newly selected Golden Angels missionaries at the NSD Jeju Leadership Training Center from January 18 to 24, 2021.
Among the various training sessions, the most insightful part was the early morning prayer sessions. In the quiet, calm and undisturbed hour of the day, consecrating our minds and opening our hearts and ears to listen to God are a great spiritual power that we can gain as missionaries. Not to let the training we received to be in vain, we have been applying the training even after returning from the intensive training on Jeju Island.
As human beings, our abilities are limited, and we admit that it is not by our own strength that the work will be done. However, we know and believe that the power of the Holy Spirit will complete us when we surrender ourselves to be His instruments.
By God’s grace, the ministry of the Golden Angels continues this year as well. Through His guidance and providence, eight young missionaries have gathered together to praise His name. Therefore, just as the apostle Paul said, we will run the race, not for a “perishable wreath” but for an “imperishable” heavenly reward.
