Pingzhen Hope Church in Taiwan (PMM Pastor SukGoo Kim) held Children Bible School and Evangelistic Meeting on July 23-30, sponsored by Northern Asia Pacific Division and East Central Korean Conference. Pastor SukHee Han, Communication Director of NSD, was invited as the speaker and Korean HisHands missionaries came to help the programs.
A-week-programs are Children Bible School in the morning, Korean Language Class and Cooking Class in the afternoon, and Evangelistic Meeting in the evening. The Children Bible School offered opportunities to introduce the church to elementary students nearby. In evening meetings there were not so many new visitors but some backsliders attended the church again and 3 precious souls decided to be baptized. On Sabbath two precious people were baptized and the other one person is preparing for baptism in this August.
Because of the strong typhoon the weather condition was not so good but God helped all programs to be managed well smoothly. Specially God stopped strong wind and heavy rain and granted sunshine during the baptismal ceremony in Sabbath afternoon. It was a thankful occasion to church members who attended the ceremony.
Pastor SukGoo Kim who started his first year ministry as PMM set a goal of church growth, “100 church members in year 2020” and makes concrete plans for church growth with prayer as like moving of church building, discipleship training, house to house visitation, medical missionary works etc. May God continue to bless the gospel ministries of Pingzhen Hope Church to harvest many fruits of soul.
