Beginning in 2007, church leaders have had a vision to set up a video production center in Taipei, Taiwan, to produce total health message videos to reach the Chinese around the world. With the full support of Taiwan Adventist Hospital, Chinese Hope TV (CHTV) started with a small studio located in the basement of Taiwan Adventist Hospital. More than 500 programs have been produced from this tiny but powerful studio in the last decade, and many health programs play on public channels in Taiwan. At the same time, 24/7 broadcasts via satellite have been reaching China since July 1, 2011, and millions of Chinese families have been able to receive the Three Angels’ Messages. Praise the Lord!
In 2016, leaders of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) supported the expansion of CHTV and its operation, and the CHTV board decided to move the studio and office into a bigger space to meet the need of producing more programs.

On March 15, 2017, NSD leaders and all institutions leaders from Taiwan gathered to celebrate the opening of the new CHTV studio and office. Special guests from the local TV station and health institutions joined this special occasion. Pastor Jairyong Lee, CHTV board chairperson, and Pastor Stanley Ng, CHTV management committee chairperson, unveiled the cover of the new CHTV nameplate. They encouraged those in attendance to hold fast to the faith of Jesus and to accept the challenge of the high calling from above to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom in all the world until His second coming.
