Beitun Church, where a Pioneer Mission Movement(PMM) missionary Pastor Jang ImChul is serving, held evangelistic meetings from April 12 to 18, 2015. The Golden Angels 12th group missionaries and the guest speaker Pastor Park KunChun, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division(NSD) Golden Angels coordinator, worked together under the theme of this special gospel week program,“How Much Is It?”
After five weeks on their first mission trip to HongKong and Taiwan (Kowloon Adventist Academy and Adventist College in HongKong and Taiwan PMM churches in Xindian, Banchiao and Saru), the Golden Angels 12th group arrived in Beitun to support the evangelistic series of Beitun Church.
Every night Pastor Park preached the word of God to approach and touch the hearts of the postmodern people in the Beitun area with the message of righteousness by faith with the title “How Much Is It?” Pastor Park shared the true worth and price of the gift of salvation. The Golden Angels 12th group missionaries tried their best to attract people through cultural activities, such as Korean language classes, cooking classes, small group Bible studies and so on.
Through these services, Beitun Church had about 50 seekers and 15 new students for Korean class. Two precious souls were baptized. Pastor Jang ImChul’s family was also fully dedicated for the mission, including their three children,who took a five-day leave of absence from school to serve at the evangelistic meetings.
To God be the glory because He is the one who is always working to save people and all things work together for good. By the grace of God, many people at Beitun Church experienced the love of God during the week. Sister Ho JaBang, who was baptized that week, says,“I am so happy and thankful that God loves me and saved me, and want to even change my jobso that I can be more faithful about attending church!”
Human effort and planning are limited and imperfect, but through God-given mission, passion and action, we can surely bring souls to the Master, our God. Jesus Christ’s second coming will be hastened through accomplishing the mission of God, having the passion of Jesus Christ, and doing the action by the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord!
