The children’s ministries department of the East Central Korean Conference held a camp for children’s teachers oflocal churches. From January 17 to 18, 2015, 150 teachers gathered at the Adventist Prayer Center to be comforted by the word of God and to be remindedof their calling. The camp was not function-centered but spirituality-centered so that participants could have enough time for personal prayer and meditation.
“Before we become children’s teachers, we need to stand firmly as Christians. Let’s make sure of our calling to be Christian teachers and faithfully accomplish our mission. In addition, let’s reestablish personal family-centered worship for personal spirituality,” said Jang YoungKi, the main speaker.
During healing lesson time, teachers shared their experiences with others. It was the third camp, and the number of participants increased to 150 teachers and 100 children who attended this year.
