The Children’s Ministries Department of Jecheon District held a children’s evangelistic festival at Yeongwol Church from November 8 to 9, 2014. About 50 children from 10 churches in Jecheon participated in the festival which included various programs, such as booth activities, orienteering, and a talent market. Pastor Yoon HoYoung, pastor of Yeongwol Church, gave a message on “God’s dream.”
This festival took placeat Maepo Church the previous year. For the event, children’s Sabbath school teachers raised money on district field day. Young people and teenagers as well as teachers participated in the festival. Pastors also supported the successful evangelistic event.
“It was a festival not only for children, but also for adolescents and young adults. It was also a good chance for all churches in Jecheon to be united,” said Cheon MyoungHee, children’s ministries director of Jecheon District Mission Association. The children’s evangelistic festival will be held every year.
