From September 7 to 9 in 2014, Chinese Adventist youth leaders held their third congress at the Hall of Tian Cheng (meaning Heavenly City) in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The Congress lasted three days during which more than 400 youth leaders from all over China gathered to pray, to discuss, to exchange ideas of mission.
Not only did these energetic youth sat down to talk about how to carry on the gospel work, they also went out to the community to live out their faith. On the first day of the Congress, they went to the business district of Nanjing and donated their blood to the local Red Cross.
On the following day, the Congress attendees came to Sun Yat-Sen Mausoleum, the most famous landmark of Nanjing, to distribute gospel tracts to the thousands of visitors.
The youth ministry is maturing and thriving in China. Many churches have realized the importance of training their young to work. May God continue to bless His people in China.
