The Korean Union Conference (KUC) held their Annual Council meetings atthe headquarters of SDA Education from November 17 to 20, 2014. Around 100 committee members from Northern Asia-Pacific Division, KUC, the five local conferences, and institutions attended to give reports on departmental activities for the year and to approve plans for the next year.
“The biggest issue of the 21st century is ‘Change and Reformation’” said Pastor Kim DaeSung, KUC president, during his presidential report.“This has become the an important quality for companies, governments, educational facilities, and even individuals. ‘Change and Reformation’ should also be a clear goal for the Korean Adventist Church and a desire of Korean Adventist members.
Although we may be facing stagnation of church growth, ‘Change and Reformation’ is still a very important task for the Korean Adventist Church. I believe God will be with us.” Pastor Kim also talked about the present circumstances and the future plan of “SaeHim 2015(New Strength 2015)” project, which supports children ministries, youth ministries, mission and revival, and spiritual restoration of the church.
