On a Sabbath afternoon, March 9th, 2013, there was a graduation and dispatching ceremony of the 41st batch of the 1000 Missionary Movement (1000MM) at the chapel in the 1000MM Training Center.
They had finally completed their English training and Missionary training. During the last three months, they struggled with their new challenges but under God’s guidance, they successfully came through all the challenges.
The total number of the 41st Batch of missionaries are 75, which consisted of 25 Koreans, 44 Pilipinos, 3 Chinese, 2 Mongolians, and 1 Taiwanese.
They started their training on December 24, 2012, and finished the courses on March 8, 2013. The contents of the training courses were very instructive and valuable for all the missionaries.
For those who live in the non-English speaking world, the training was conducted according to each student’s level of speaking abilities. They also had practical exercises for the salvation of souls such as homiletics, evangelistic skills, Health evangelism and the local language skills.
On the day of graduation, each of the 41st Batch missionaries were assigned with their partners to their prospective mission fields which they will stay for a year. They participated in a foot-washing ceremony together, and they prayed for the ministry which they will be engaged.
On the following day, there was a dispatching ceremony at the 1000MM Training Center. It was a short but meaningful one, in which the participants prayed for their daily life as missionaries and shared joy and encouragement with each other.
The mission fields where the missionaries will be sent are seven countries: various regions of the Philippines, India, Cambodia, Taiwan, Laos, Thailand, and South Korea.
As true missionaries of God, they will do their best to spread the Gospel in there mission field. Although they will face many challenges and hardships in their mission fields, they will overcome those difficulties by the power of God. We have great expectations with our newly trained 41st Batch missionaries this year. Your prayers for these missionaries will be greatly appreciated.
