Parenting Guide School in Pakistan Union Inspires Families to Grow Spiritually

The Parenting Guide School in the Pakistan Union is making a significant impact by equipping parents to nurture their children spiritually and guide them toward better life choices. This transformative initiative empowers parents with the tools and inspiration to help their children stay connected with God, fostering strong values and a Christ-centered foundation.

In December, the program celebrated a heartwarming milestone as 40 children in the Pakistan Northern Section chose to follow Jesus through baptism. Parents were profoundly moved and grateful as they witnessed their children publicly commit their lives to Christ. These baptisms stand as a powerful testament to the transformative impact of intentional parenting and the spiritual guidance provided through this program.

Led by Farzana Yaqub, the Pakistan Union Section Children’s Ministries director, and supported by local church leaders, the Parenting Guide School offered seminars and workshops tailored to meet families’ practical and spiritual needs. Key topics focused on teaching parents how to build strong communication with their children, guide them toward making better life choices aligned with God’s principles, and maintain their physical health while fostering nurturing and supportive home environments.

Raquel Arrais, Children Ministries director of the NSD, was involved in the interactive sessions, which provided parents with valuable insights into their vital roles as spiritual mentors. Many parents expressed how the training helped them better understand their children’s needs and create loving, God-centered homes. Through activities, worship, and Bible lessons, children embraced the theme “I Will Go with Jesus,” deepening their commitment to their faith.

Raquel Arrais emphasized the importance of such programs, stating, “Through programs like these, the church is sowing seeds for a generation that will live with purpose and share God’s love with the world.” As this initiative continues to expand, it is transforming families across the Pakistan Union by empowering parents to raise children who are spiritually grounded, capable of making wise decisions, and committed to following Jesus.
