“Be the Light!” has been the central theme for this grand celebration of 25th anniversary of 1000 Missionary Movement (1000MM), which all the sermons from the noteworthy church leaders were pointing to. The paramount of the commemoration commenced September 1 until September 3, 2017, on the 1000MM campus in Cavite, Philippines.

Neighboring churches around the 1000MM main campus, “Always Missionaries” (formerly called senior missionaries) from distinct batches, prominent leaders from the different levels of our church organization, to mention a few, Samuel Saw, president of the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, Gary Blanchard, General Conference youth director, and Jairyong Lee, president of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) as well as a 1000MM founder. The congregation was truly blessed to hear their timely and powerful messages anchored by the challenge to “Move forward! Be the light wherever you go!” Most importantly, sincere tributes were all sacredly offered to the sovereign God who has protected, empowered and blessed the ministry of the 1000MM for the last 25 years of serving humanity and the Almighty.
Filipino missionaries alumni were given its way to be firmly established as the new officers were elected during the Sabbath Afternoon spearheaded by Ephravil Fadollone (4th batch), the pioneering president. Significantly, the Golden Angels of NSD and HISM of 1000MM had contributed their musical endowments to the heavenly Father during the “Thanksgiving Musical Festival” in the AIIAS Auditorium in the Sabbath evening.
No seats had seen vacant, all were filled, where the venue was fully packed with the congregation who witnessed that once in a lifetime event. “Truly, I am so blessed with the messages in songs,” one of the missionaries testified her blessedness with the messages through music that she had heard that wonderful night.
“Praise be to the name of the Lord for His faithfulness, guidance, and protection for the 1000MM for the last 25 years!” the current 1000MM director, Pastor Joshua Shin, acknowledged his fervent praise Above. Nothing else surpasses God’s ultimate love. He has shown and eternally will be sustaining this work, His work until the prophecies are fulfilled. He is coming not long from now. Move forward and BE THE LIGHT!
