Stewardship Training Strengthens Faith and Mission in Pokhara

The Stewardship Training held at the SDA Church, Pokhara, Nepal, was an enlightening three-day event from January 10-12, 2025. It brought together church members from 14 satellite churches under the Pokhara Church. Kim NakHyung, the Stewardship Director of the NSD, served as the main speaker. The event saw a remarkable turnout, with members actively participating to deepen their understanding of stewardship principles.

The training was organized to reinforce mission work and ensure its continued progress throughout Nepal and was a significant blessing for the congregation. It inspired everyone to engage deeply with stewardship principles and their application in daily life.

The training particularly impacted young adults, field pastors, and their spouses. Attendees expressed their gratitude and felt blessed to be part of the event. The sessions educated participants about the importance of stewardship and offered a platform for spiritual renewal, revival, and growth.

One of the most encouraging outcomes of the training was the spiritual transformation it sparked among attendees. Many women experienced a change of heart and committed to following Christ, demonstrating the power of such training programs to bring meaningful change and uplift souls.

A highlight of the event was the baptism and certification ceremony. Over 100 church members attended the training, and 50 participants received certificates recognizing their commitment to learning about stewardship and deepening their relationship with Christ. 8 people also accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior during the training and were baptized. The ceremony was a joyous occasion, reflecting the attendees’ and organizers’ collective effort and dedication.

The training underscored the vital role of young leaders in the Pokhara SDA Church. Their dedication was evident in the successful execution of this event. Seeing these young officers taking charge and fostering spiritual growth within the congregation was inspiring. The three-day Stewardship Training was a resounding success, strengthening mission work in Nepal and bringing spiritual renewal to many.
