Mongolia Mission’s Christian Home & Marriage Week

Mongolia Mission (MM) had the “Christian Home & Marriage Week” in the third week of February 2022. During the week, MM Family Ministries organized an online program inviting special speakers to teach eight seminars on dating and family planning. It was rewarding to have the Mongolian Adventist High School students participating and talking with university students as well. At the end of the program, students had the opportunity to share their thoughts along with biblical messages on digital platforms. We Praise God for the engagement of the young people and for their commitment to build healthy relationships.

In addition, during the Christian Home & Marriage Week, seminars on “Family Relationships” were held online. Several topics were addressed in the seminars, including mutual understanding, jealousy, old age crisis, health of family members, and family prayer time—these topics were deeply discussed among those who attended. The six seminars on family relationships were viewed by 9,700 people on Facebook.

Meanwhile, a training session on involvement of parents and teachers in the upbringing of children was organized with the teachers from Tusgal Adventist School in Mongolia. The training offered many ideas for parents to focus on how to raise their children and help them to thrive. Parents received help on topics such as how to work with teachers. Teachers also gave advice on how to protect their children from temptation. The training, which was livestreamed on February 19, 2022, was viewed by over 6,300 parents. We thank God for the opportunity to use technology to help our families at home.
