JUC Sees Strong Evangelistic Impact Through Loud Voice 2025

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Japan concluded its 2025 evangelistic initiative, “I Will Go 2025 (Loud Voice 2025),” under the theme “To Convey the Best Jesus,” reporting widespread spiritual impact across the region.

Throughout the year, churches, companies, and Bible study groups across the union prayerfully launched locally tailored outreach projects. Through united prayer and active participation, members witnessed meaningful connections with communities, as the message of Jesus reached many hearts.

Across the union, these combined efforts resulted in 156 evangelistic programs conducted by 95 participating churches and companies. The initiative led to 170 baptisms, demonstrating both spiritual growth and continued mission engagement.

A key highlight came from the Tohoku region, where 12 churches and companies collaborated to conduct evangelistic meetings as part of a unified initiative. The effort was grounded in a “40 Days of Prayer” movement, which played a significant role in preparing both members and communities. The meetings, largely led by lay members, were marked by strong attendance and visible spiritual interest.

Several locations reported encouraging outcomes. In Aomori, a five-day seminar series consistently drew large crowds, leading to new Bible study interests and one baptism. In Morioka, an unexpected visit from a former kindergarten parent led to participation in a communion service, reflecting what members described as a clear answer to prayer. In Sendai, personal testimonies from lay members deeply touched attendees, while in other regions, music programs, health initiatives, and community events served as effective bridges for outreach.

Church leaders noted, “Community-based ministries such as health programs, concerts, and social outreach play a vital role in building relationships and lowering barriers for first-time visitors. In many cases, these efforts naturally lead to deeper spiritual conversations and growing interest in Bible study.”

They added, “We thank God for His guidance and for the dedication of our members. The seeds planted through Loud Voice 2025 will continue to grow and will serve as a strong foundation for future mission initiatives.”
