NSD Annual Council 2004 Opened on November 2
A morning devotional by Dr. Jairyong Lee

On November 2, 2004, the Annual Council of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists opened by a morning devotional from the NSD president, Dr. Jairyong Lee. The Seventh-day Adventist Church leaders from around the NSD territory are getting together to have their annual council from November 2 to 7 with the theme, “United in the Witness of Truth.”

"Trust in the Lord, become strong vessels as Moses, Elijah, Joshua, Peter, Paul are strong vessels..."

At the morning devotional, Dr. Jairyong Lee, said, “All of us are vessels in the House of the Lord. Vessels in the house of the Lord should be used for His work.”  

He emphasize on what kind of vessels Church leaders and Christians should be. “We should be clean to be used by God’s hands…. We need to be empty to be used by the Lord. Also, we need to be strong vessels with trusting in the Lord. We should be like Joshua who became a strong vessel remembering the word of God, “Be strong, be courageous, I will be with you!”
