Glenn & Suzanne Michell

At the July 4, 2003 NSD Executive Committee Teleconference, Elder Glenn Mitchell  was appointed and called to serve as the Departmental Director for Communication, PARL and Publishing. He replaces Tadaomi Shinmyo who has recently been elected as the Secretary of the Japan Union Conference.

Elder Mitchell, a US citizen, comes to the Northern Asia-Pacific Division with 35 years of service to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, both in North America and overseas. He has most recently served as the Communication Director of the Maritime Conference and pastor of the Dartmouth Church in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Elder Mitchell and his wife, Suzanne, have two grown children, a son and a daughter, both living in the United States. Elder and Mrs Mitchell are expected to arrive in the Northern Asia-Pacific Division early in September, 2003.
